In keeping with St Benedict’s Rule of hospitality for guests, the Sant Benet Monastery Guesthouse is a place of retreat for individuals and groups from all walks of life and beliefs seeking to quietly share the simple life, prayer and rhythms of the Benedictine monastic community of Sant Benet of Montserrat.

Booking is easy, but you must first enquire to see if space is available. Maximum stay is 10 days and minimum is 1 day.

The Guesthouse can accommodate 21 guests. There are eight twin-share rooms, one triple-room (equipped with a bunk bed) and one single room with shared facilities and one single room with en-suites. Individual or group bookings for adults are available. (A bunk-bed is available on request). There's no lift in the Guesthouse.



All meals for residential guests are provided in the Guesthouse Dining Room. The meals offered are simple and home cooked, visitors receive the same as the nuns. Lunch is the main meal of the day (three courses) with supper being a lighter meal in the evening. 



The Guesthouse is equipped with the flat rate Wi-Fi.

Sant Benet of Montserrat is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Visitors are welcome to attend worship in the Church. You can visit the gardens, take refreshment and find out about the monastery Ceramics artwork at our small ceramics shop. All work is made by the nuns since 1964 in a contemplative spirit to maintain a spirit-empowered way of life. 

Two meeting and events venues are available for groups (maximum capacity 20 PAX and 12 PAX each one).


Length of Stay

We hope that you will greatly benefit from your time spent at the monastery. The minimum stay is one day and maximum is 10 days. You are welcome to stay a whole day, from morning to sunset, for a retreat or study.
