In reality, the community is made up of around thirty sisters and our day to day passes between work and prayer, honoring the Benedictine motto "Ora et Labora".
In prayer we follow the liturgical cycles and the Liturgy of the Hours. Its rhythm helps us to go deeper and deeper into the mystery and following of Christ. In the peace of the surroundings of Montserrat, and following the rhythm of nature, we learn to fully live the Gospel while being open to the heartbeat of the world.
With the work of our hands we earn our living through the beauty of ceramics, decorated candles, postcards... but we also earn it through reflection and thought, offering training with different courses of theology, personal growth, retreats... For us, moreover, the hospitality of the monastery is an important part of our work. For this reason, we want to be open to everyone who knocks on our door, welcoming and sharing their search for faith and life, offering them enriching spaces to stay.
Our desire is to live the limitless love of Christ, remaining well rooted in our land and building a better world. The Kingdom of God is already among us and within us!
